All It Gives Me Is An Incentive To Go Stack Shelves – Case 58

This is case study number 58

This is Richard’s Story:

Richard – Tell us about what is going on with your situation?

Hi there I have 2 daughters to my current partner living together and a 6 year old whom lives with my ex I pay 200 a week child support 450 mortgage then rates then water etc. Plus car plus bills etc.

I’m only on 100,000 a year I know its high but the amount in tax brings it back too 66000 child support down to 55 000 our house down too 31000 bills is 18000 a year so leaves us with 16000 a year.

I pay 11000 for one child and only have 16000 to live on with 4 of us I cant work out those pr**ks in IRD who make these rules but something needs to change.

I’m over it.

How much did you pay on the old formula?

Approx $540

On the NEW formula what will that amount be per month?

Are you happy with the new formula?

What are your main reasons for being not happy with it?

Read above

If child support was a set amount per child split between both parents for the basic necessities, what do you think is a fair amount per month per child?

What else would you like to say?

The stupid pr**ks who make these pathetic changes all it gives me is an incentive to go stack shelves for 40 hours a week so I pay f**k all why try in life as the government will screw you to pay their wage

  1. That much for 2 kids and you earn 100k per year. You got off lightly. Most people should dream of earning that!
