We Live On One Wage And Really Struggle – Case 48

This is case study number 48

This is Jim’s Story:

Jim – Tell us about your family?

Well where to start I have three children that I have shared care with and one with my new wife.

The problem with our situation is that I have my three children every weekend unless because my child is seven hundred a month sometimes I cant afford to get them.

We live on one wage and really struggle. My ex lives an hour away cost about hundred dollars a week to get them and I am up to my neck in debt thanks ird.

I know I need to pay something I’m six days short of half and half shared care. Not fair.

How much did you pay on the old formula?

On the NEW formula what will that amount be per month?

Are you happy with the new formula?

What are your main reasons for being not happy with it?

Not being able to afford to have my baby’s some times

If child support was a set amount per child split between both parents for the basic necessities, what do you think is a fair amount per month per child?

What else would you like to say?

Be understanding everyone is different.

Jim – thank you so much for sharing your story with us.

We want to hear your story!

If you would be happy to share your story with our community – we would love to hear it. Please fill out our Case Study submission.
