This is case study number 131
This is Anon’s Story:
Anon – Tell us about what is going on with your situation?
I have a 6yr old with my ex.
We split up when she was 1.
He dragged me through court to get set visitation and has only stuck to it twice.
How much did you receive on the old formula?
On the NEW formula what will that amount be per month?
Has anything (outside of the new formula) changed that may have contributed to the change in amounts that you will recieve/pay?
He moves around a lot and changes jobs all the time.
Are you happy with the new formula?
What are your main reasons for being not happy with it?
He has never paid a cent towards the child, even when we were together he never helped me out with anything.
Everything she has and needs is provided be me and my partner.
If child support was a set amount per child split between both parents for the basic necessities, what do you think is a fair amount per month per child?
What else would you like to say?
I don’t understand how a father who doesn’t see his child by his own choice has to pay so little compared to a father who actually sees and helps provide for his children.
The new formula really needs to be sorted out.
